First I was thinking, "What the hell is up with all the characters from my past popping out of the woodworks all of a sudden?" Everynight was a new episode of "Jennifer! This is your life!" Ah, then it hits me, like a swift kick in the ass. I'm about to retire my journal of four years. Four years doesn't seem like a long time, but considering that in those four years, I had a child, went through the ultimate highs and lows of a long term love, battled many addictions, moved five times, accumulated a "what's-his-name" list and had 8 different occupations - yeah, Life just wants to celebrate with me. Woohoo!

And to celebrate she has sent me a line of all the wrong m-f-ers telling me they love me. But I'm not complaining because as an ultimate gift, I'm also only 10 pages and a bio away from finishing my compilation of poems. Life doesn't get any better than this. Oh well, it could. I could have the man I'm in love with beside me stroking my hair, Jason Mraz writing ballads for me, and Mr. Mystery Man back to cha cha with. Que serra serra, things always work out for me. Who knows? Maybe tomorrow I'll be back with bigger better news.
